A symbol of Ikeda!

Satsukiyama stands at 315.3 meters tall and is situated in the central region of Ikeda. Within the grounds, the blooming sakura cherry trees and azalea, and beautiful autumn leaves attract many visitors during peak season. The hiking course, zoo, urban greenery botanical gardens and other facilities located in the park are also popular. In particular the Satsukiyama Zoo where you can see the rare Australian wombats and wallabies, as well as alpacas and many other animals for free is a huge attraction.
