Satsukiyama Zoo
Meet the wombats ♥ and enjoy free entry at this happy zoo
Satsukiyama Zoo, is located within Satsukiyama Park and attracts both Ikeda residents and many visitors from surrounding areas. The zoo has been a place of fun for everyone since it's opening in 1957.
With approximately 3000 ㎡ of space, Satsukiyama Zoo has many rare animals from Australia, such as wombats and wallabies, as well as Alpaca's from the heights of the Andes and many other sights to see.
There is almost no history of successful wombat breeding outside of their homeland Australia, however two of these unique and rarely seen animals have been born at Satsukiyama Zoo, and even now you can see their lively shapes when you visit.
Come and visit Satsukiyama Zoo with your family and friends! Have a fun and relaxing day while visiting the zoo.
