Ikeda Bunko Library

Experience Hankyu's historical books and posters!
Opened in 1972, Ikeda Bunko Library currently has more than 20 000 books and magazines in it's collection. Approximately 60% of the library's collection of books are related to film, performance, art and literature.
As founder of the Takarazuka review, Kobayashi Ichizo also donated many precious documents to the library including; books, Takarazuka musical and Hankyu Railway posters, shibainishiki-e (colored woodblock prints of kabuki theater) and other kabuki-related materials.
