Azalea Hall Citizens Culture Centre and Restaurant
Jazz, Pops, Classical, International culture concerts, lecture meetings as well as Japanese traditional events such as Kabuki, Rakugo etc are held here in the various event spaces. Ikeda students are often seen here attending various competitions and special film events.
On the ground floor is the main auditorium; a smaller auditorium and a flexible space on the 4th floor - which is large, airy and has recently been refurbished. All are used constantly to delight Ikeda audiences with the very best events. There are also recording and practice studios to hire for musicians and dance groups.
The restaurant Cornet has a new menu and is a popular restaurant with beautiful Park views from the tables situated inside or outside on the deck. It is reasonable place to have a quick meal before an event or a leisurely coffee and cake any time of the day. It is closed on Tuesdays.
Ikeda Station Gallery
This is a multipurpose gallery available to the citizens of Ikeda to show their creative sides in the form of artworks; hung, woven, thrown and sculpted. The gallery situated in the Hankyu Ikeda Station is a very convenient art space for people to have a leisurely browse in. It is available for hire by any group.
 Inagawa (River) Athletic Fields
The eastern bank of the dry river bed beside the Ina River that separates Hyogo and Osaka prefectures is used regularly by the citizens for a leisurely stroll, jog or bike ride, but most often by sporting groups for baseball, soccer, tennis etc. These grounds are available for use by all and are always in use.
Satsukiyama Citizens Gymnasium
Built only 6 years ago - this centre is well worth a visit as it is extremely impressive and there is always something going on there of interest. In the large, impressive arena various competitions are held. Ranging from ballroom dancing to volleyball, table tennis, and badminton, different competitions are all held here.
On the same level at the other end of the building is a 25 metre undercover pool surrounded by glass that allows views of both the mountain on one side and the city below. The large fitness gymnasium with beautiful greenery views is full of the most up to date weight and electronic machines. For first timers, competent and friendly instructors will do a fitness assessment and work out a programme with you. Use of the facilities here are available to the citizens to use at a very reasonable price. Monthly passes to use the fitness gym are also available for 4800yen. After strenuous exercise it is common for people to relax in the large Japanese style bath. The center offers aerobics, dance and yoga lessons in the dance space and aqua aerobics and swimming lessons in the pool above. The whole area is wheelchair friendly giving access to all citizens of Ikeda. It is open from 9:00AM until 9:00PM and is closed on Tuesdays and the first Wednesday of each month.
